On How I Love Arashi, Shinhwa and Big Bang

I am going to tell everyone that will be willing to read this why I love those three boybands *looks at Title to make a point*. I’m going to tell you why I love them and not other groups but I’m not going to mention names of those other groups and you’ll be free to guess who they are. I’m not going to explain it in a simple manner. It’ll be so long that you’d want to click the X in the tab and then sigh over a waste of time.

I’d start alphabethically with : Arashi, BigBang and Shinhwa.

ARASHI

Arashi is a Japanese boyband that consists of five members namely: Ohno Satoshi, Sakurai Sho, Aiba Masaki, Ninomiya Kazunari and Matsumoto Jun. The name Arashi means Storm, it is titled that way to make them take over the JPOP world like a storm. And I’d say that they are very successful with that.

See, Arashi is like a drug to me. They never fail to amaze me. I’d seen almost all their guestings and performances that I could say that each and everything is very unique.

They’re like a child in a way that you’d never get bored with them. Ohno with his ability to get lost in his own world, Sho with his simple dorky abilities that even though he looks so serious he’s so not, Aiba and his being a big dork that no one could compare to him, Nino and his super talents that you’d think he is so perfect but it turns it out he so acts like a second-Aiba, and Jun who is the youngest but you’d never guess because he’s a DoS but then could become so dorky.

I love them for who they are. They look so professional during pictures that you’d never guess their real self. But be ready to watch the concerts or live interviews that you’d be awed by their level of awesomeness with random jokes that you’d laugh your hearts out.

Funny things is that each and everyone of them has their own talents. Ohno with his superb singing and dancing, magnificent drawing abilities,and  funny fishing addiction and the power to love Nino. Sho with his amazing smartness, great rapping abilities and a very good drawings that you’d think a kid about 5 years old drew it. Aiba with his talent to make everyone look so smart, make the athmospere so good, make everyone laugh and be the biggest dork in Arashi. Nino with his superb singing, dancing, acting and writing skills, his talent in playing various instruments, his addiction to magic and games that he is SO good at and the fact that he’s still a dork thorugh all that awesomeness plus his love for his Oh-chan. Jun and his OMG acting, his getting better singing, his less DoS activities and his un-childish appearance but would soon disappear once you see him golf *LOLS*.

I may love all of them my OTP is Ohmiya, yes, Ohno and Nino. They used to be active before, but now T______________T

They are very different from everyone, very unique that they are still together even right now.

BIGBANG

BigBang is a Korean Hip-Hop band with 5 members namely: T.O.P (Choi SeungHyun), TaeYang (Dong YoungBae), G-Dragon (Kwon JiYong), DaeSung (Kang DaeSung) and SeungRi/Victory (Lee SeungHyun). They are under YG and the very first Koreans to try and take over the Korean music business with their Hip-Hop music. Their fanbase is named V.I.P. from their first song with the lyrics “BigBang is V.I.P.” And I’d say I’m so totally taken over.

The group debuted 2006 with the song V.I.P. and LaLaLa. Their song is SO different from usual Korean song with a majority of vocals and less rapping while theirs is majority of rapping and less singing. They already had fans because of YG’s awesome idea, but Korean music critiques say that BB won’t lass long because their music does not agree with Koreans.

Well, they are so very wrong with that. 2007, BigBang released a mini-album with the song Lies. And this song, Lies is the one that swept the Korean critiques sayings because they are totally successful and we eat up their talents like cotton candy. Lies and Last Farewell and Haru Haru and Sunset Glow to name a few are their songs that topped the charts beating the songs of the used to be ‘It’ group in Korea. And now, BB will be in the KPOP history as the first ever HH/R ever.

Even though their image is rock, inside they are so not. They are the normal friends there is. T.O.P the charismatic guy is just an ice-cream addict with the funny remarks that you won’t expect from him. TaeYang may look like the devil/angel of sex appeal outside but inside he’s actually a VERY shy, caring hyung and of course, theone scared of girls with 0-girlfriends and first kiss is for a music video. G-Dragon as the leader, the hip-hop talented guy with a very unique sense of style but inside he’s just a cute guy who likes to play with his bandmates too much. DaeSung the angel of smiles during stages may be all-smiles but inside he’s all-smiles with a lot of mischief that you won’t expect. And the maknae SeungRi, the cute boy who just turned legal last Dec. 12 and already has a very sexy song and MV, he may still act cutely but he had actually undegone many challenges in life and his entertainment career, he is also the one with the most self-love that he is sooo confident (and I totally love him for that).

I so totally love them for having 2 different attitidues. The cool guys on stage when performaing but the cute guys when not performing. They’d say such small jokes and play with the one interviewing them and of course, tease SeungRi.

Once again, each member have their own talents. T.O.P (Choi SeungHyun) is the main rapper because well, he raps and he’s hella good with it, plus he could seriously act (as a payment for not being good in singing or dancing). TaeYang (YB) is their lead vocals, he has such great voice and dancing skills. G-Dragon (JiYong) as their leader is very talented because he really leads and take care of the group, his sense of style had hit Korea like a storm, he can sing, dance and rap with a sprinkle of acting, he also has talents for writing like TOTALLY AWESOME SONGS that TOTALLY ROCK THIS WORLD, he so totally composes the song too and he really loves HIS maknae. DaeSung is a good singer too, with his talnet to make other laugh and his trot singing and his variety show stuff. SeungRi (Lee SeungHyun) is a very GREAT dancer as in like blow-your-minds away, and he had improved his singing from when he was 14 years old and now has a magnificent voice and acting abilities, so I’m telling you plus he has the ability to love JiYongie.

My OTP in here is NyongTory or YongTory is G-Ri, whatever you prefer it still turns out to be JiYong and SeungRi or as JiYong says, “his Seungi”. Well, we can’t do anything of JiYong doesn’t want to share right? And what’s funny is that JiYong says he doesn’t like SeungRi anymore and likes DaeSung now, but he still keep on showing his feelings for dear maknae.

I’ll continue to love them till the end. They are my medicing whenever I fell lonely and depressed because of the funny things they would say :]

SHINHWA

Shinhwa is a Korean group with six members namely: Eric Mun, Lee MinWoo, Kim DongWan, Shin HyeSung, JunJin and Andy Lee. Their name means Legend which is titled that way so that they can be the Legend of Korean industry. They have their fanbase with the name Shinhwa Changjo which translates to The Creator of the Legend, and their color is Orange. They have been together since 1998 and is now the longest running Korean boyband. And I’m a proud Shinhwa Changjo.

Once a fan, always a fan.

This is a quote from the CM Spot for their 10th Anniversary Concert last year. And I agree, I’ve become a fan of Arashi and Bigbang haven’t I? But I still keep on loving them. Because of their talents and their everlasting friendship. A friendship that will never be broken. A friendship I haven’t seen in any other group (beside Arashi and BigBang) and this is why I’m very picky with Boybands. Shinhwa had become my comparison, if they don’t have attitudes and friendship even a little like Shinhwa…however great you are, I’d say ‘NO’.

Even though Shinhwa had grown so much as a group, they are still level headed. And still as dorky as ever. Eric, the leader, is a very funny person who loves to play pranks when there is no formal show going on and he also love to butt into other member’s interview. Lee MinWoo, the smallest guy, is the most charismatic besides Eric, he is a totally funny guy that could crack you up with his smallest comments. Kim DongWan is their witty guy, he brings most of the happiness around them and would constantly play pranks too and he never fails to give you a smile whenever you need it. Shin HyeSung is ther lead vocals, he looks so timid and shy but he’s just as worst as MinWoo is, smallest commnets turns to be very big jokes. JunJin, is the power dance king that doesn’t seem to lose his power to dance. And Andy, the maknae, may look to sweet but he’s just as worse as DongWan is.

They look very mature now. Even though they are apart they are still together. They have made a mark on every fans heart. Whenever they are gone fans seem waver but whenevr they come back the fans would once again hold their orange glowsticks and scream ‘SHINHWA SARANGHAE’ on the top of their lungs. They have made my laugh millions of times with their funny interview but it seems like that they could make me cry more with their touvhing frienship. A friendship I wished I had.

Shinhwa is not just looks and friendship. Eric is a rapper, writer, dancer and actor, he had hit dramas that had also been carved in the Kdrama history. Lee MinWoo is a variety show actor before and had already released 4 albums, plus he is a great dancer just like Eric. Kim DongWan is also an actor with hit dramas that is loved by many and 2 albums that brought him to the solo-stage. Shin HyeSung (my prince) may not be a very good actor but his vocals skills with ballads that would totally melt you away and make you wish not to be solid again because you’d just waste your time because you’d soon turn to mush again, he alos acts in his MVs proving that he can still act even a little, his dancing abilities are not as good as his singing but he can dance, their performances are the witness, but he can’t create his own steps but instead making it into child dances like “Crab Dance”, “Money Please Buy Me that Dance”, “Fight Dance” and “Sweep Dance.”, he also created the funny songs “Burger Song” (yes my crabby loves burgers) and “Banana Song” (with Eric). JunJin is rapper originally but his vocals are better now, he had released an album too and is the power dance king because well, he is a powerful dancer and he acts. Andy, is also the rapper but became vocals too, he acts in a lot of dramas and banjun shows and varities and MCs and produces artists, his dancing is better than HyeSung though.

I love them like this. They would always top my heart. They would always be my NUMBER 1 ( not the BB song okay?). If I have to wait 4 years for their comback, I’ll wait. But to those fans who couldn’t wait, well I’m very sorry, because those 4 years would just be an openning.

I would always be a Shinhwa Changjo. Mind. Soul. Body. They would always be the one I love the most.
